ROH News: World Title Match Fall-Out, Briscoes vs. Kings of Wrestling, Motor City Machineguns, and more

The following news items were posted on the February 16th edition of the ROH Newswire:

Video footage of comments from “all of them men involved” in this past weekend’s ROH World Title match between Tyler Black and Austin Aries –Black, Aries, Jim Cornette, and Roderick Strong (the latter two falling victim to Black superkicks mid-match)– is said to be “forthcoming.”

The Motor City Machineguns –Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin– have been confirmed for ROH’s next New York City show, on May 8th. Tickets for that show are already on sale at ROH’s website.

ROH has posted an article detailing the issues between the Briscoes and the Kings of Wrestling, who will meet in ROH’s Charlotte debut, on April 3rd. Mark Briscoe and Claudio Castagnoli are still scheduled to face off at the March 5th ROH on HDNet tapings. Should Castagnoli win, the ROH World Tag Team Titles will be on the line on April 3rd.

Speaking of “The Big Bang!” on April 3rd, front row tickets for the show sold out in less than ten minutes on Monday. Tickets for the event are still available on ROH’s website. The event will also be available on PPV via www.gofightlive.tv.

The Wire reports that Kevin Steen “seemed to injure his knee once again” during his match against Colt Cabana this past Sunday. It is not clear whether the injury was legit, or simply part of an angle.

ROH has signed Jerry Lynn, Necro Butcher, Rocky Romero, and Kenny King to appear in its Wrestlemania weekend (March 26th-27th) shows in Phoenix, AZ. ROH will begin announcing matches for those shows soon.
