Hopefully, I’ll get to see this in Austin in March, but it does conflict with another film I want to see (DANG IT!) at the SXSW film festival. I’ve never read the comic, but each new bit of footage I see, especially the red band and international trailers, makes it look like, well, a kick-ass movie!
Empire has been doing an on-set video blog about the production and has created a mini documentary – a featurette, really – with footage of Matthew Vaughn talking on he came about casting Aaron Johnson in the role of Kick Ass. Also featured in the piece is Mark Strong, Chloe Moretz, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
