The Goo Goo Dolls are ready to return to the spotlight in 2010 with an all new album and support tour.
Something For The Rest Of Us is the name of both the LP and the tour, with a first single being released in the next couple weeks to start the ball rolling.
The album, which according to Goo’s bassist Robby Takac was complete in the Fall, now is slated for a spring release to give the band time to “polish the record up.”
As for the sound of the new record, Takac says to Billboard:
It’s the next Goo Goo Dolls record, I guess… I’d like to think we’ve extended our arms in as many different directions as we can.
