WWE is continuing the angle that they started last night on the debut of NXT, where Michael Cole turned on internet wrestling fans. After talking down about people “twitting and blogging and believing what you read on the dirt sheets”, Michael Cole now took down his WWE Universe page. WWE posted the following message on their twitter feed: “Michael Cole has requested his @WWEUniverse profile be removed from our site, not wanting to associate with “online fans” any longer.” This whole thing relates to the Miz/Daniel Bryan pairing and follows up on Miz’s blog post from last week and his promos on PPV and TV this week.
Of course, Josh Mathews had the best line of the night, when he said earlier that the WWE Universe thinks Cole is obnoxious. Thank you Josh.
