The first American Idol results show turned out to be a shocker.
Then again, after what many consider to be the worst semifinal round in Idol history, anyone leaving wouldn’t have really been a surprise, but the fact that favorites Ashley Rodriguez, Janell Wheeler, Joe Munoz and Tyler Grady were eliminated on Thursday has to be a stunner especially after they were so heavily featured in the programs earlier rounds.
