Strikeforce News: Jose Canseco Seeking MMA Payout To Pay Debt

Former baseball player Jose Canseco is looking to get into MMA via Strikeforce, in what appears to be an attempt to pay a large tax debt.

The former Major League Baseball (MLB) player and the main man behind their steroid era reportedly owes the IRS $320,000.

Canseco is pushing hard for a fight against Herschel Walker.

Here is a rundown of Canseco’s pending liens
-The IRS filed a $121,209 lien against Canseco on Jan. 7 with the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds.
-The state of California filed a $101,037 lien on June 2, 2009, in Ventura County Court.
-The state of California filed a $29,739 lien on Dec. 12, 2008, in Los Angeles.
-The state of California filed a $68,210 lien on July 7, 2008, in Los Angeles.
