Mike Jones remained undefeated with a unanimous decision victory over veteran Henry Brusseles in a welterweight contest. Jones moved to 20-0 (16 KOs) with the win. The scores were 98-92, 98-92, and 97-92.
Light welterweight Kendall Holt lost to Kaizer Mabuza when referee Lindsey Page stopped the fight when Holt declined to get off his stool after the sixth round. Mabuza, 23-6-3 (14 KOs), was too much for Holt who fell to 25-4 (13 KOs) with the loss. Mabuza becomes the mandatory challenger for the winner of Juan Urango and Devon Alexander, which takes place in Connecticut next week.
