Wesley Snipes can’t seem to get away from his role as Blade, and it may be that he doesn’t want to. On a press tour for Brooklyn’s Finest, Snipes has been asked many times if he’d be up for reprising the character. Shock Til You Drop quotes an interview Snipes had with MTV where he hinted as to what he wants to see in a fourth film: “There are some things we really want to do that we didn’t get a chance to do. The first and the second one were experiments, and we started to get better. If we do another one, it will reflect our maturity and our better understanding of the genre.”
The Pulse: I like how Snipes completely overlooks Blade 3; although, really, who could blame him? The first two movies were loads of fun, and I’d certainly be up for another installment. With any luck, we might see the Daywalker kicking ass and taking names in the not-too-distant future.
But that’s just my opinion. What do you think? Did Blade 3 put the nail in the proverbial coffin, or is there enough love for the character out there to warrant going back?
