What has the NHL done with itself since the Olympics?
Its done what it always manages to do: Screw things up!
After last week’s NON suspension of Matt Cooke for his brutal hit on Marc Savard during the GM meetings (where they were discussing what to do about hits to the head!), today the NHL dished out a 2 game suspension to star player Alexander Ovechkin after he was thrown out of yesterday’s for boarding Brian Campbell of the Chicago Black Hawks.
That’s exactly what the league needs, replays of one it’s marquee players drilling a guy head first into the boards.
