The UFC makes its way onto the Versus network tonight at 9 p.m. ET with UFC Live: “Vera vs. Jones” from Broomfield, Colorado. The evening’s card is headlined by a light heavyweight match between fast-rising prospect Jon “Bones” Jones and Brandon “The Truth” Vera.
But that is not all the card has to offer, as three other explosive match ups will be aired live on Versus preceding the main event. Beginning the televised card will be a middleweight brawl between James “The Sandman” Irvin and Alessio Sakara. Following that fight is a heavyweight bout between Paul “The Headhunter” Buentello and Cheick Kongo. In the evening’s co-main event, rising heavyweight sensation Junior dos Santos will look to continue his climb up the ranks with a victory over Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace Gabriel Gonzaga.
