ROH News: Chris Hero Signed, Necro vs. Embassy Hits Phoenix, Talent Confirmed for Dayton and Chicago, and more

Ring of Honor has signed Chris Hero to a new contract. Click here to read the press release.

ROH has already scheduled its returns to Toronto and Dearborn, MI. ROH will be at the Ted Reeve Arena in Toronto on June 19th, and in Dearborn on November 12th (click here for a recap of this past Friday’s Dearborn event).

The (neverending) feud between Necro Butcher and The Embassy continues this weekend in Phoenix. On Friday, Necro takes on Bison Smith. On Saturday, Necro teams with The Briscoes and “Skullkrusher” Rasche Brown to take on Smith, Joey Ryan, and the Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli).

The following wrestlers have been signed for ROH’s shows in Dayton, OH and Chicago, IL (April 23rd and 24th, respectively): The Briscoes, Roderick Strong, Shawn Daivari, El Generico, Rasche Brown, Steve Corino, Sami Callihan, and Colt Cabana (4/24 only). ROH will begin announcing matches for these shows next week.

ROH claims to be “currently in talks with an amazing talent” and hopes to have an announcement in the coming days.
