In a breaking story at MMA Weekly, Thiago Alves has reportedly been pulled from his fight against Jon Fitch at UFC 111. Alves had a a CAT scan that revealed issues that could not be resolved before their scheduled fight on March 27.
Alves was already in New Jersey for the UFC 111 event on Saturday night, and will be seeing a specialist.
There is speculation that this fight will be moved to the May 31 UFC event in Charlotte, although everything is still up in the air pending Alves’ medical status.
