This 3-DVD set has a biographical documentary feature on Steamboat’s life, as well as some of the biggest matches of his career.”
Unfortunately, much of this set will likely be taken up by the Flair and Steamboat matches, which, while all time classics, are already available on numerous other sets. Of course, there is the recently unearthed house show match with Ric Flair from WCW in 1989. This is not part of their storied trilogy, but still a 5-part classic and would give an amazing new look to the DVD. The quality of the DVD will owe in large part to how deep the WWE is willing to dig for these matches. From Mid-Atlantic to various house shows, Steamboat has put on so many hidden, rarely seen gems the quality of his epic, world renowned matches that it would be a shame to merely get rehashes of the latter set while ignoring the former.
