Lost Spoilers: Desmond Episode Proves Meaning Of The Show Is Love; Hurley Show Next

Spoilers

In another monumental episode of Lost, true answers were finally given and the most important was the fact that at the end of the day, for all the smoke monsters and hatches, the show is ultimate a love story.

While Desmond and Daniel Faraday/Widmore are the show’s constants, the true constants are the couples, some of which were referenced in last night’s episode including:

Desmond/Penny
Daniel/Charlotte
Charlie/Claire

And this love theory can be traced to:

Sun/Jin
Bernard/Rose

And even to the Jack/Sawyer/Kate triangle.

We also learned that the Sideways world is not how things are supposed to be. Consider what Daniel said to Desmond in the show’s most chilling scene:

“What if this all this wasn’t supposed to be our life? What if we had some other life, and for some reason we changed things?”

The remaining five episodes will address the above, starting with Hurley next week. This Love theme could also explain why Libby comes back in some form on the episode.

As E! Online speculates:

“Desmond getting his hands on the flight manifest with the mission of showing the other Flight 815 passengers what he saw: The life they are supposed to be living. See you in another life, brotha, indeed!”
