This week’s episode of 90210 was full of lies for everyone. We saw Teddy and Silver still trying to give it a go and trying to prove to each other they really knew one another. News Flash: He’s going to break your heart and turn out to be a bad guy! I just know it but until then Silver and he are going to continue to try and make it last.
This resulted in Ivy and Dixon faking a relationship to make their former flames think the had moved on. Problem is Dixon has moved on only Ivy doesn’t know it. I’ll admit I didn’t like Ivy at first but she has grown on me exponentially and I love her awesome music producer mom, Laurel. I am so glad Ivy has contracted to series regular because she definitely brings something fresh and real to this drama.
I know Adrianna is thankful since after her first big performance with the Gloriuous Steinems Laurel wants to sign Adrianna but only her and not the band. Oh what dilemma! It was funny because when I watched this with my Tuesday night crew they all thought it was ridiculous that she would get signed just like that. I had to remind them (since they didn’t watch first season) that Adrianna is a child actress and already a little famous so it sadly does make sense or maybe it just makes sense to me.
Also Adrianna and Gia took their relationship public, very public by making out on stage in front of everyone! Gia and Ade were having some problems showing affection around others cause Ade was too unsure until now. Too bad Navid wasn’t there at all, in fact he wasn’t even in the episode nor was he mentioned. I actually missed that goofy news reporter but hopefully he’ll be back next week to deal with his bisexual ex’s current love interest.
The biggest lie of the week goes to Naomi who was forced to continue her lie about being sexually assaulted by a teacher because she’s afraid that if Liam knows she lied then he’ll break up with her because he’ll think she’s too much like her wicked sister Jen. Problem is Naomi didn’t think Liam would almost attack the teacher and was on the verge of expulsion until she burst in the principal’s office to clear his name only by continuing the lie! Naomi was definitely letting her mean girl flag fly this week when she kept going after Ivy because she suspects she’s still into Liam, let it go Naomi you won the prize although I’m not sure how much longer she can keep up the lie and when it does come out if Liam will still be there when the dust settles.
Guess who won’t be back on 90210 for a while! Our resident creeper Jasper who through himself off the Hollywood sign trouble is he didn’t die he’s only very broken and beat up. He’s also headed for a mental clinic but not before he could tell Annie how much he loved her and how he wasn’t going to tell anyone her secret. Annie clearly felt reassured as she smiled while leaving the hospital room but there are two important things she’s missing. Jasper’s parents said Jasper was very beat up over his uncle’s death, Jasper seems like the loner recluse no authority type. The only way I suspect his uncle’s death bothered him is if he was somehow involved. I’m still on team “there’s more to this hit and run than meets the eye” but only time will tell. Also Jasper’s a creeper and creepers don’t stay down unless they are dead or in jail so it’s really only a matter of time before he’s back in Bev Hills doing damage perhaps in time for the season finale but we’ll have to wait to find out for sure.
