We are here for TNA Impact!

Jeff Jarrett is up in the rafter and he’s beating up Sting! He wants Sting to answer for what he’s done. They brawl down the steps onto the ramp and to the ringside area. Sting fights back with the bat.

Backstage, Ric Flair, AJ Styles, Desmond Wolfe, Chelsea and Beer Money do a promo-a-thon with JB.

Bubba Ray interupts Mike Tenay and Taz as they introduce us to Impact. He made tonight’s match with the band a six-man match with NY Street Fight Rules!

Commercial Break

New York Street Fight
Team 3D and Jesse Neal vs. The Band
Match begins in progress when we’re back from the break. There is a large amount of plunder in the ring and they all hit each other with it. Team 3D in full control. They get tables from under the ring. Bubba sets up to put Sean Waltman through the table, but Bubba the Love Sponge comes out for a distraction. Nash’s hair appears bleached or some odd color. Distraction allows Waltman to hit Bubba with a top rope X-factor through the table for the pin.
Winners: The Band

After the match, Eric Young runs in and clears house and makes a match vs. Kevin Nash in a cage for Lockdown.

Commercial Break

JB interviews Hogan about Lethal Lockdown. Hogan says he has four main event guys on his team but is still worried about Flair. Hogan approaches Bischoff backstage and they have a meeting to get to.

Shannon Moore vs. Kazarian
Back and forth action to start. Shannon controls for a bit, then Kaz pulls down the top rope and sends Shannon to the floor. Kaz follows and beats Moore a bit on the floor before bringing him back in for a legdrop for 2. Douglas Williams comes out wearing the X Title on the ramp. It will be a three-way dance with Williams, Kaz and Moore at Lockdown. Williams joins the broadcast table. Kaz hits a gut buster to counter a springboard by Moore, and gets a 2 count. Williams cutting promos on the flipping of the X Division wrestlers. Great action in this match. Top rope rana by Kazarian. Asai moonsault by Moore onto the floor. Top rope spinning moonsault by Moore on Kaz in the ring for 2. Tenay started talking about a time limit then the bell rang. Oops!
Time Limit Draw

JB interviews Velvet Sky about her match tonight.

Commercial Break

Hogan and Bischoff have their meeting backstage in the office. Hogan wants to know what’s going on brother. Bischoff says to trust him. He’s being cool with Flair to gain his trust (then saying it on national TV though, so that seems dumb). “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer” says Bischoff. Hogan sighs. Bischoff exits. Black Machismo comes in and says he thinks the Band is a problem. He suggests reuniting the Mega Powers to take down the Band. Hogan says they will do it after Lockdown if Lethal could find Hogan’s “banana hammock”.

JB interviews Angelina Love backstage. She wants to bring back woman’s wrestling. Tara enters and they argue. They are tag partners at Lockdown! Ah a Russo favorite. “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer” Tara says. Hmm

Commercial Break

Christy is backstage with the Pope and Abyss. Pope cuts a promo on AJ, and Abyss cuts a promo on Desmond Wolfe.

Angelina Love comes out for her match. Velvet Sky comes out on the stage and changes their match from a “Leather and Lace” match to a handcuffed match where Angelina is handcuffed. Why wouldn’t she have made this for the title?

Commercial Break

Handcuffed Match
Angelina Love vs. Velvet Sky
Velvet beats down Angelina with the title belt. Then grabs a mic and declares this also an “I Quit” match. Velvet beats her a bit but Angelina wont say it. Why wouldn’t she have made this for the Knockout’s Title? She beats on Angelina a bit more. Slow. Props Angelina in the corner and on the mic says she will strip her naked. Velvet: “Say IT!” Angelina “No, you bitch”. Lacey Von Erich and Madison Rayne run in. Tara’s music plays and she runs in. Tara clears out the BP and unlocks Angelina.

Winner: No

Angelina goes to shake Tara’s hand but she refuses. oOoOoooo.

Christy is outside the Impact Zone where Abyss has been laid out! More after the break.

Commercial Break

Apparently Abyss was hit by a car!

JB interviews Matt Morgan, who has Amazing Red with him as his new partner. He buries Red while putting him over as the best “pound for pound” wrestler in the X Division and even all of TNA.

TNA Tag Team Title Match
Motorcity Machineguns vs. Matt Morgan & Amazing Red (c)
Morgan dominates for a minute or 2 and we go directly to a break

Commercial Break

We’re back and Red is in the ring with the Guns. He hits some cool spots. Sabin does a cool kick to Red’s face on the floor and Red flips around. Sabin does a double gun salute. Match continues in the ring. Cool spot where the ref is distracted, and Morgan drags Red over to his corner and tags himself in. Morgan on offense, then Guns double team. Morgan tags in Red. Match breaks down a bit. Red hits Code Red on Sabin for the pin.
Winners: Morgan & Red

Morgan attacks Red after the bell because he didn’t get the pin. Apparently Red is not the full champ. Morgan sets up Red on the ringpost for another concussion attack but Red moves.

Christy backstage as Abyss is put into an ambulance. After the break they have survailence footage of the crash.

Commercial Break

We see black and white footage of a car hitting Abyss. They show “higher quality” footage and a closeup of the mystery driver.

Jeff Hardy vs. Bobby Roode
Jeff hits some offense to start, including a mix of dropkicks. Roode on offense. Nice match for a bit. James Storm tries to interfere, but Jeff fights him off, hits the Swanton for the pin.
Winner: Jeff Hardy< Immediately after the match James Storm attacks again, and brings Jeff into the ring. He blows a fireball/liquid at Jeff's face (Spike TV showed like a hiccup-freeze frame) and Jeff is down. RVD runs in and clears out the heels and tends to Jeff. Commercial Break We see Jeff Hardy tended to backstage. They advertise the full burning footage on tnawrestling.com Kurt Angle/Ken Anderson video package. JB interviews the Pope about the tag match tonight now without Abyss. His prayers are with Abyss. Lethal comes over and calls him "Reverend Slick" and calls JB Mean Gene. I think Lethal will sub for Abyss as Pope's partner tonight. Commercial Break Dog the Bounty Hunter is in the crowd! The Pope D’Angelo Dinero & Black Machismo Jay Lethal vs. A.J. Styles & Desmonde Wolfe
Beer Money backstage beats down Jay Lethal before he can make his entrance. Pope alone in the ring. AJ makes his entrance, followed by Flair pushed by Chelsea. Then Desmond makes his entrance. As he poses, Hulk Hogan comes out with a chair and hits Wolfe in the back. In the ring Pope and AJ brawl and Pope takes him to the floor. Back to the ring, AJ makes a comeback. Beer Money and Desmond join in for a four on one beatdown on the Pope. Flair makes five. Hogan appears on the ramp and Flair yells at him. We’ll see you at Lockdown!
