Bachelor star Jake Pavelka has reportedly said that Ali Fedotowsky “deserved” the opportunity to become ABC’s Bachelorette.
Speaking to Hollywood Life, Pavelka said: “[Ali’s] awesome. In every episode I’ve ever watched, she was growing as a person on The Bachelor and she deserved that spot.
“If I had a friend that I thought would be great for Ali I probably would have kept her off the Bachelorette, but I didn’t and this is a great opportunity for her.”
Pavelka said that he and Vienna Girardi will be “pulling” for Fedotowsky when the show premieres May 24 on ABC.
