The Spring TTM Auto Project – Update

As a quick reminder, these were the players I already received:
Johnny Cueto, Blake Hawksworth, Mike Leake, Jason Marquis, Justin Masterson, Clayton Mortensen, Tyler Norrick, and Daniel Schlereth.

These players sigend, but a limited amount:
Jeremy Sowers and Ty Wiggington.

Since the last article, I’ve had a pretty good showing.
Garrett Atkins 1/1 – I was hesistant sending here, since Atkins and the Rockies required a $25 donation to the Rockies Charity; I didn’t know if he’d sign for free. It took 20 days.
Andrew Brown 3/3 – Signed all as promised on Facebook. It took 17 days.
Jordan Brown 1/1 – Again, he kept his promise about signing. He took 13 days.
Tyler Henley 1/1 – Another promise keeper. 21 day mailing time.
Ryan Kulik 1/1 – I’m doing pretty well with Cardinal Minor Leaguers. 45 days in the mail.
Lance Lynn 1/1 – Another guy from my Springfield Set; it’s nice to confirm that players will sign ahead of time. It took 18 days.
Manny Parra 1/1 – He’s as reliable as last spring. It took 23 days.
Chris Perez 1/1 – He’s as automatic as it comes. It also took 23 days.
Curt Smith 1/1 – See pretty much all of the minor leaguers above. Took 27 days.
Hainley Statia 1/1 – The Angels prospect was another promise from Facebook. He took 14 days to mail it back.
Chris Volstad 3/3 – Volstad has been good about sending his mail back. He took 33 days.

As you can see, all signed everything that was sent. I’m pretty happy at this point; my success rate is sitting at 54%, which is 9% higher than the last time I sent to spring training.

Here are the players outstanding still:
Aaron Cunningham (2)
Eddie Degerman (1)
Justin Fiske (2)
David Freese (2)
Marco Gonzalez (1)
Mark Hamilton (4)
J.J. Hardy (2)
Jon Jay (4)
Adam Jones (4)
David Kopp (2)
Rick Porcello (2)
Juan Rivera (2)
C.C. Sabathia (1)
Jeff Samardzija (3)
Pablo Sandoval (2)
Max Scherzer (2)
Mark Teahen (2)
Jess Todd (3)

Notes about these guys:
I’d confirmed it was ok to send to Degerman, Fiske, Gonzalez, Hamilton, Jay, and Kopp…Degerman, Fiske, and Gonzalez were released from the Cardinals; I’m going to have to see if they received their mail before it happened…I’ve seen Adam Jones successes this spring, so I hope mine are just in the mail…I’m nervous I won’t receive Juan Rivera back; the card is sent was one that was already signed by Marcus Thames…I’m not optimistic on the chances I took on Sabathia and Porcello…

Since I had a pretty good spring so far, I’ve decided that I’m going to send out a few more during the season. I’ll keep updating what is send and what I’ve received so everyone can see the trends for the season.
