Cover Art for WWE’s Best PPV Matches 2009-2010 Blu-ray

Disc Announcements, News

Blu-ray.com has posted the artwork for the upcoming WWE Home Video release WWE: Best Pay-Per-View Matches 2009-2010

“The pinnacle for every sports entertainer is to appear on pay-per-view, and once their, they desire to steal the show-put on the best match. For the first time ever on home video, the WWE Universe can enjoy the best PPV matches in a one-year span in one home video collection. The stars of Raw, SmackDown, and ECW present the greatest bouts of the year, from longtime PPV standards WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and Royal Rumble, as well as newly themed events, including Breaking Point, Hell in a Cell, Bragging Rights, TLC, and Elimination Chamber.”

According to PWInsider.com, the Best PPV Matches set is a 2-Disc BD set and will contain “over 8 hours of action.”

Now then, I don’t know who is in charge of World Wrestling Entertainment’s marketing department, but it seems impractical to call something the “Best PPV Matches 2009-2010” and then release it in the middle part of 2010. Though, the company did market WrestleMania XXV as the 25th anniversary of the Super Bowl of wrestling when it was clearly the 24th anniversary.
