ROH News: Website Crash, Return to Buffalo, Chris Hero Interview, and more

Because ROH’s website was down over the past couple of days, ROH is offering a “40 percent off” sale on almost all items available on ROH’s website, including DVD’s, tickets, apparel, and even some non-ROH items. Any order placed between between 7PM EST on Sunday, April 18th and 2PM EST on Monday, April 19th is unlikely to have survived the website crash, and should be placed again. ROH will return to Buffalo, NY at The Erie County Fairgrounds Agri-Center on Friday, June 18th. Tickets go on sale this coming Monday, April 26th, at 11 AM EST. More information on this event will be released in the coming days and weeks.

Monday Night Mayhem has posted an interview with Chris Hero discussing, among other topics, Hero’s match against Petey Williams this coming Friday, his World Title shot against Tyler Black on Saturday, the reformation of the Kings of Wrestling, and their May 8th title defense against the Motor City Machine Guns in New York City. The following wrestlers have been added to the May 21st and 22nd set of ROH on HDNet tapings in South Philadelphia: Chris Hero, Eddie Edwards, Austin Aries, Davey Richards, and El Generico. The following women competitors will also appear that weekend: Rayna Von Tosh, Jamilia Craft, Daizee Haze, and Sara del Rey (5/21 only).

Delirious is currently on another tour of Japan with Pro Wrestling NOAH, where he has amassed a 7-1 record. Delirious will face GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion Yoshinobu Kanemaru on Sunday, April 25th at Sapporo Teisen Hall. Delirious has been held off ROH shows with a (kayfabe) throat injury suffered at the hands of Austin Aries, who has taken Delirious’ place in the Pick 6 Rankings.

Roderick Strong vs. Erick Stevens has been signed for the Manassas show on May 7th. The next night, Strong will receive an ROH title shot against Tyler Black, Kenny King (Black’s opponent in Dayton on 4/23), or Chris Hero (who has a title shot in Chicago on 4/24). This weekend, Strong faces El Generico in Dayton and Davey Richards in Chicago.
