In a story on Access Hollywood, it is being reported that the “American Idol Gives Back 2010” effort had “raised more than $15 million … before the East Coast Feed of the show even finished airing.”
The show got plenty of celebrities involved, including “Victoria Beckham, Ben Affleck, Jim Carrey, Russell Brand, Jonah Hill, Nadya “Octomom” Suleman, Wanda Sykes, Jennifer Garner and Annie Lennox … President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama also recorded messages of support for the show.”
