Being Human, the BBC series currently being developed as an American remake for the SyFy Channel, will see a US release of the British show’s first season on July 20 from Warner Home Video.
The show, first aired in 2008, is a supernatural dramedy about three roommates who just happen to be a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost — each trying to live a normal life. The show stars Aidan Turner, Russell Tovey and Lenora Chichlow.
The two-disc set will contain all six episodes of the UK television show. Special features will include deleted scenes, featurettes, video diaries, character profiles and interviews.
I haven’t had the chance to catch any airings of the show on BBC America but, being a fan of both the supernatural and television dramedies, you can be sure I’ll be watching this show when it is available on home video.
