Inside Pulse TV Madness Bracket Tournament – Final 4 Voting Begins with Lost, Chuck, House, and Burn Notice Facing Off Against Each Other!

Features, Shows, Top Story

The Elite 8 Round voting has ended and we now have our Final 4!

In the ABC Region, the #1 seed Lost had a tough battle with #2 24. 24 almost had a late push of votes to send it over the top, but it wasn’t quite good enough. Lost was able to win by the closest margin this round with only 55% of the total votes.

In the FOX Region, the #1 seed The Office went down to #3 Chuck. Chuck got a lot of fan support worldwide and this lead to it winning by nearly 90% of the vote! Quite surprising, but Chuck fans have spoken. This sets up an interesting Lost vs. Chuck semi-final. Lost fans better show better support for their show than Office fans did.

The CBS Region had become known as the “upset” region, but there was no upset this time. #4 Burn Notice fairly easily beat #6 Big Bang Theory with 65% of the vote. Burn Notice is an underestimated show, since it does have the lowest amount of viewers being on a cable channel. That doesn’t mean that it’s a lower quality show, though.

Finally, the NBC Region gave us another upset surprise. #4 seed House easily beat #2 Friday Night Lights with 75% of the vote. This sets up a couple of #4 seeds facing off against each other with House vs. Burn Notice.

So in the final four there is 1 ABC show, 1 NBC show, 1 FOX show, and 1 USA NETWORK show. So the most watched television network, CBS, doesn’t have shows left, which shouldn’t surprise anyone if you looked at the demographics of the majority of the readers of Inside Pulse TV. All of these shows have a strong fan base and have dominated voting recently, so it will be interesting to see which way the votes go when these shows face off against each other. Choices have to be made. Remember you are voting for the best show on television right now.

If you don’t know what this is all about, go back to the First Round Voting Page, Second Round Voting Page, Third Round Voting, Sweet 16 Round Voting, and Elite 8 Round Voting, and get all of the details there. Sir Linksalot: Television News

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
