Subtitled Trailer For New Luc Besson Film

News, Trailers

Luc Besson is one of those directors who instantly gets my interest piqued whenever I see his name attached to a film — even if he has taken a backseat to directing films as of late to concentrate on producing and writing.

Well, here’s a new trailer for a new film Besson has directed, Les aventures extraordinaires d’Adèle Blanc-Sec (or The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec). An adaptation of the France/Belgian comic book series created by Jacques Tardi, the movie is set in Paris in the early part of the last century and deals with a woman charged with investigating and halting the destructive path of a recently woken pterodactyl.

While the movie premiered in France earlier this month, there are currently no plans for US distribution. Hopefully that will change soon because this movie looks absolutely amazing — a return to form for Besson.

The cast includes Louise Bourgoin, Gilles Lellouche and Philippe Nahon.
