According to Dave Meltzer in The Wrestling Observer, TNA has had preliminary talks with Shelton Benjamin and Jimmy Yang. Kurt Angle is expected to push for Benjamin and Charlie Haas, his friends when he was in WWE, while Yang has a history with Eric Bischoff. The assumption is also that if Mickie James wants to continue wrestling TNA would want here, and she’d make an excellent replacement for Tara. Mike Knox has potential and would be useful, but TNA might not want to bring in that many WWE releases at once.
