Robert Guerrero earned an eighth round TKO over Roberto Arrieta in Las Vegas Friday night. The win improved Guerrero’s record to 26-1-1 (18 KOs). Guerrero is a former featherweight and super featherweight world champion but is now looking for gold at lightweight.
Guerrero took eight months off to be with his wife as she battled leukemia. He withdrew from a March fight with Michael Katsidis in order to spend time with his ailing wife. Robert’s wife Casey is doing better now and Robert looks to pick up where he left off in the ring, ascending the lightweight ranks.
