Marco Huck Retains Cruiserweight Title Over Brian Minto

News

Marco Huck retained his WBO Cruiserweight title in Germany with a 10th round stoppage over Brian Minto. Minto had spent his entire career at heavyweight before deciding to drop down to cruiserweight at 35 years of age. Huck dropped Minto in the third, fifth, and ninth round. Minto’s corner threw in the towel after the ninth round.

As was his scouting report as a heavyweight, Brian Minto proved to have more heart than skill and would not stay down for the count. Huck moved to 29-1 (22 KOs) with the win while Minto fell to 34-4 (21 KOs) with the loss.
