Mercury News reports that the acidic Elizabeth Hasselbeck has apologized for remarks she made about sportscaster and Dancing with the Stars star Erin Andrews. On Wednesday’s episode of “The View,” Hasselbeck “tearfully apologized on air Wednesday to the beleaguered ESPN reporter.”
The remark she was apologizing was in reference to when “A stalker filmed a naked Andrews last year through a hotel room peephole. Hasselbeck snarked Tuesday that the man, since convicted, would have seen ‘a little bit less — without the prison time’ just by watching ‘Dancing’ this season.”
