NFL: Minnesota Vikings DTs Pat Williams and Kevin Williams Hear Judgment On Suspension Thursday

News

After over a year of legal wrangling, Hennepin County Judge, Gary Larson, is expected to make his decision known to the world Thursday in the morning.

UPDATE: Judge Larson has sided with the NFL saying the players weren’t harmed with the leagues violation of the state law. This doesn’t mean the players will automatically be suspended, there will be another hearing Thursday to decided whether or not to grant an injuction while they await an appeal decision.

The NFL tried to suspend the defensive tackles in 2008 after they tested positive for a diuretic that’s banned because it can mask the presence of steroids. But the two DTs filed a lawsuit against the league for going against a law in the state of Minnesota regarding drug testing.
