Charlie Sheen’s lawyers are reportedly attempting to negotiate a plea bargain involving a short jail term, in order to avoid a long probation sentence. Sheen’s legal team feels that probation holds more potential for Sheen to get into further legal hot water, whereas serving jail time would expunge the case from his record afterwards.
