LPGA Golfer Erica Blasberg was found dead in her Las Vegas house Sunday afternoon; the police are investigating her death. No word if foul play is suspected.
A 911 call was received Sunday afternoon, but the police are not releasing the name of the caller.
Chase Callahan, her agent, has confirmed her death but wouldn’t comment further.
Blasberg played in 1 event this year; she placed 44th in an event in Mexico.
LPGA Spokesperson David Higdon said: “She was a very popular player and well-liked and we’re going ot miss her. This is a very close-knit group of players and tour and we’re saddened by what happened.”
