It seemed very interesting that American Idol favorites Lee DeWyze and Crystal Bowersox were chosen to sing together, but apparently there wasn’t any funny business.
The contestants revealed themselves that while the chosen pairs were a “behind-the scenes” producer decision, the contestant got to choose all elements of the staging and which song they wanted to do.
