MTV News posted a picture of Ryan Reynolds in the motion capture suit for the upcoming Green Lantern movie. This is the closest you’ll see Reynolds in his Green Lantern uniform until post-production gets its hands on the footage as the costume will be almost completely CGI.
The Pulse: This is probably the grumpy old man in me, but I have concerns about an almost completely computer generated costume. Green Lantern was already going to feature some heavy CGI effects, and the addition of CGI costumes makes me worried that the movie will look more like a cartoon than a live-action film. Hopefully, I’m wrong.
So what do you think? Is this a good move or is Warner Bros. making a mistake in relying on too much computer-generated effects?
