Tonight’s “Worlds Collide” pay-per-view event presented by Shine Fights has been canceled, according to Karyn Bryant. Ricardo Mayorga was pulled from the planned main event against Din Thomas earlier today when Mayorga’s promoter, Don King, filed an injunction against his fighter. A Florida-based judge ruled in favor of Don King saying Shine Fights could not promote Mayorga.
Shine Fights initially planned to go through with the bout. Later, Mayorga-Thomas was pulled and the event was still scheduled to go on. Now, as Bryant reports, the show has been entirely canceled.
