Well folks, it’s a new week and here we all are joyfully waiting for Wednesday. Let’s see what I’ll be reading this week:
Marvel:
AVENGERS #1 – The Avengers book have had me conflicted for a long time. On the one hand, they’re filled with characters I love, but on the other hand, Bendis. I don’t hate Bendis, just…urgh…I’m sure some of you know what I mean. It’s hard to describe.
INVINCIBLE IRON MAN #26 – This books been great since launch, nothing more to say.
X-FACTOR #205 – This is a book I’m kind of on the outs with. Quality seems to have dipped lately but here’s hoping it picks up again.
X-MEN LEGACY #236 – I’ve never been able to resist X-crossovers so, yeah, this is on my list.
X-MEN PIXIE STRIKES BACK #4 (OF 4) – I can’t even explain my fascination with Pixie. I guess it’s because all the X-students I really liked have been dead for, what, like three years now?
DC:
BRIGHTEST DAY #2 – For more racism. Kidding, kidding.
EX MACHINA #49 – I loved this book when it started, I really did, lately it’s kind of been iffy though. It’s in it’s final stretch so hopefully it doesn’t do some LOST type let-down.
LEGION OF SUPER HEROES #1 – Reading this one with bated breath. I have absolutely no faith in DC to keep the gang around in a worth-reading ongoing series.
SUPERMAN WAR OF THE SUPERMEN #3 (OF 4) – I’ve been enjoying the hell out of this mini.
ZATANNA #1 – Fishnets, ’nuff said.
