10 Thoughts on WWE Over the Limit 2010 feat. John Cena vs Batista and a Bald CM Punk

PPVs, Reviews, Top Story

The Pay Per View was tonight and I am instantly here to discuss it. Luckily I live on the West Coast, so I didn’t have to miss Lost to check this out. For an article on TNA’s usage of Jeff Hardy, check out my blog at itswilltime.wordpress.com.

1. Perhaps this will become clearer once it plays out on TV, but what was the point of taking the IC title off of Kofi, when he was just going to get the belt back? Good match and great work for both characters.

2. Asking for a rematch is a champion’s right, asking for a match stricken from the record and reversed is ridiculous.

3. Dibiase really loses even with Virgil? Lame.

4. CM Punk and Rey Mysterio had a good match, but this series hasn’t featured the great matches that I was hoping for. Punk bald will hopefully help his career the way it did Kurt Angle.

5. Kane makes the save? That was random. He’s already bald, what does he have against Punk?

6. JeriMiz did not have the amazing chemistry we were all hoping for, but it was their first match together and a losing effort. Let’s hope there’s more of them in the future.

7. Bummer about Orton’s injury. That had to be a complete audible. They were solidly in third or fourth gear, but they didn’t get to go through to the big finish.

8. Jack Swagger looked like a chump tonight. Why did they protect Big Show? Swagger needs to get over, Show can get his heat back easily.

9. I know people complain about blood stoppage, but thank you WWE for making sure that Cena was not bleeding on fans. Not only is it unsanitary, it is just plain gross. I would be appalled to get blood on me at an event.

10. Unspectacular “I Quit” Match. Batista backing the car into Cena was a little over the top (or over the limit). The Attitude Adjustment through the stage looked cool though. Also, I love that they set up next month’s main event at the end of this month’s show. That does not happen enough. Way to go Sheamus.

Goodnight and have a pleasant tomorrow kids! I’ll be back with 10 Thoughts on Raw tomorrow night.
