Kofi starts out on fire, and sends Drew to the floor quickly. Kofi follows with a suicide dive, lands right on Drew. Back in the ring, Kofi looks for the Boom Drop, but Drew rolls back out. Kofi follows, but Drew pokes him in his eyes. Back in the ring again, Drew is in complete control. Drew sends Kofi to the corner, but Kofi reverses it, then leaps up on the top and starts slugging away on Drew. Kofi then hits the Boom Drop, and goes for the Trouble in Paradise, but Drew ducks it. Drew goes for the Future Shock DDT, but Kofi reverses it, and then hits the SOS for the pin!
Winner and New Champ – Kofi Kingston

After Kofi leaves, Drew is on the mic, and he wants Teddy Long to reverse the decision. Matt Hardy’s music hits and he goes straight to the ring, and hits the Twist of Fate on Drew!

CM Punk cuts a creepy promo in a mirror with Luke & Serena looking on…they will welcome Mysterio into the SES tonight.

Recap of Dibiase asking R-Truth to be his Virgil.

R-Truth vs. Ted Dibiase (w/ Virgil)
Back and forth to start. They stare each other down, and then slaps each other. Truth sends Dibiase to the floor, and as Truth is going after Dibiase, Virgil distracts him, and Dibiase takes him out. Dibiase tosses Truth back in the ring, and hits a neckbreaker for 2. Dibiase to the 2nd rope, and comes off with a axe handle, but Truth dodges it. Truth puts Dibiase on the top turnbuckle, and goes for a the Superplex, but Dibiase fights out, sending Truth to the mat. Dibiase then hits the Electric Chair drop for 2. Truth hits a suplex into a stunner for 2. Dibiase off the ropes, and Truth hits the Lie Detector for the pin.
Winner – R-Truth

Teddy Long is on the phone in his office, and McIntyre barges in, and wants the decision of the match reversed & Matt Hardy fired. Teddy says no, and Drew trashes his office. Drew gets to Long’s picture of Martin Luther King, Jr., and Long asks him to leave it alone. Drew says that he will not touch it, because he is more like MLK then Long is.

Recap of the Mysterio/Punk feud.

CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio – Hair vs. SES Pedge
Luke & Serena are not out at ringside with Punk, and the barber chair is right next to the ring in the walkway. Mysterio starts out very fast. He has Punk against the ropes, but when he charges, Punk sends him over the top to the floor. Punk on the floor after him, but Mysterio slides back in the ring, then baseball slides out, hooking Punks head, and sends Punk head first into the retaining wall, and Punk is gushing blood. Back in the ring, Punk reverses Mysterio, and then slides him under the ropes, right into the barber chair. The ref puts the match on hold, and tends to Punk’s gashed forehead. The stoppage is a good 2-3 minutes with the crowd chanting ‘boring, boring’. Mysterio works his way back in the ring, and Punk charges him. Punk goes for the GTS, but Mysterio flips through, trying to get a hurracanranna, but Punk holds on, and Powerbombs Mysterio into corner. Punk goes for another GTS, but again Mysterio slides out, and arm drags Punk into the ropes, and hits the 619. Punk goes for the Springboard Splash, but Punk sits up at the last second, and Mysterio goes splat. Punk gloats a bit, but its just enough time for Mysterio to roll up Punk, and score the pin.
Winner – Mysterio

After the match, the Masked Man attacks Mysterio from behind, Luke & Serena then come down the aisle. All 4 men start to beat down Mysterio, and go to handcuff Mysterio in the ropes, but Kane’s pyro hits, and he comes down, and takes out the SES. Mysterio then handcuffs Punk, and then shaves his head.

Jericho confronts Big Show backstage. Show threatens to punch him out again.

The Hart Dynasty (w/ Natalya) vs. Chris Jericho & The Miz – WWE Unified Tag Team Championship
Miz & Kidd start. Kidd keeps the it very fast pace, and hits Miz with a series of kicks. Jericho comes in, but Kidd dumps both to the floor. Smith comes in, and he launches Kidd over the top rope on both Miz & Jericho. Smith now takes over the match, overpowering Miz. Jericho in, Kidd in. Jericho catches Kidd in the Walls. Kidd gets to the ropes, and slides on the apron after the break. Kidd goes for a springboard, but Jericho catches him in a Codebreaker on the way down, but only gets a 2 when Smith breaks it up. Smith in, hits Jericho with a Running Powerslam, British Bulldog style, on Jericho, and gets 2. Smith sends Jericho off the ropes, but Miz makes the blind tag. Miz hits the Reality Check, but only gets 2. Miz sends Smith to the corner, and hits his diving through the ropes clothesline, but Smith holds on, and sets up Miz for Kidd to make the tag and hit the Hart Attack for the pin.
Winners and Still Champs – Hart Dynasty

Recap of Edge/Orton

Edge vs. Randy Orton
Very boring first few minutes of the match. I take that back…a very boring match overall. Orton is holding his arm a lot. Orton pulls Edge through the ropes, and hits the Viper DDT, gets a 2. Orton goes for a spear, but Edge shoves off, and then Edge lines up for a Spear, but Orton kicks him in the face. Orton hits the mat, and starts slapping it, like he always does, but he pulls up, and his right arm goes dead. Edge rolls to the ring, and it is clear that Orton’s injury is legit. Orton stands against the retaining wall, and Edge goes for a Spear again, but Orton moves, and Edge goes head first to the wall. The ref then hits the 10 count, and the match is over.
No Contest due to Count Out

After the match, Orton is holding his arm dead while he walks up the ramp, and he is clearly legitimately hurt.

Recap of Big Show/Swagger feud.

Jack Swagger vs. The Big Show – World Heavyweight Championship
Right off the bat, Show surprises Swagger with a Greco takedown. Show then muscles Swagger around a bit, but Swagger hits a shoulder block to Show’s leg, and Show is down on his knees, then Swagger hits a shoulder block to Show’s actual shoulder, and Show goes down, but Swagger only gets a 2 count. Show back up, grabs Swagger for a Choke Slam, but Swagger tries to kick out Show’s legs, and Show just shoves him over the top rope. Swagger then grabs his Title Belt, and clocks Show over the head with it.
Winner via DQ – Big Show

Swagger then hits Show again with the belt, then he goes and gets a chair, and tries to layout Show with it, but Show steals the chair, and nails Swagger with it. He then Choke Slams Swagger on the chair. Show picks up Swagger, and then hits the KO Punch, laying out Swagger for good.

Recap of Batista mauling Mark Henry a few weeks ago on Raw

Josh Matthews with Batista. Batista said that after the camera’s went off last week on Raw, Cena was crying like a baby, and wanted out of the submission move.

I don’t normally throw my 2 cents in the reports, but the announcing is especially terrible tonight. Cole & The King keep double teaming on Striker, and it sound vindictive most of the time. Thanks for letting me rant.

Eve Torres (c) vs. Maryse – WWE Diva’s Championship
Maryse dominates the match from the get-go. They fall to the floor, and Eve is up against the post. Maryse goes for a kick to her head, but Eve ducks, and Maryse kicks the post. Back in the ring, Eve takes over, hitting a standing moonsault for 2. Eve then with a sunset flip, but Maryse kicks Eve in the face on the roll through, and gets a 2 count. Maryse then goes for the French Kiss, but Eve reverses out of it, and hits her unnamed finisher, driving Maryse face first to the mat.
Winner and Still Champ – Eve

Video Package leading to the Main Event.

John Cena (c) vs. Batista – I Quit Match – WWE Championship
Batista grabs the mic from the ref, and tells Cena that he is going to make him quit, just like on Monday. Cena grabs the mic, and then hits Batista with it. They fall to the floor, and Cena grabs a chair, and swings, but misses Batista, but hits the ring post. In the ring, Batista takes control of the match, and locks on the Rings of Saturn! Cena refuses to quit a few times, and powers his way out of the hold, and is able to lock on the STFU, but Batista passes out from the pain. Cena gets a bottle of water and dumps it on Batista. As Batista is getting up, Cena charges at him, but Batista catches him in a Spinebuster, and follows it with the Demon Bomb. Cena says no to the ref. Batista clears off the announce tables, and hits Cena with a Powerslam through the table! Cena refuses to quit again. Batista pulls Cena over the retaining wall, and guides him up the steps in the arena. He then goes to the 2nd level, and Batista threatens to toss him over (about a 8 foot drop to concrete) if he doesn’t quit, and Cena does not. Batista then tries to Demon Bomb him, but Cena fights out, is back on his feet, then tosses Batista over the railing (on to about 4 members of ‘security’). Ref asks, and Batista doesn’t quit. Cena then brings Batista back to the ringside area, toss him down some steps. However, Batista then takes over again, and beats down Cena, as he walks him up the aisleway. They fight onto the stage, where there are cars on each side (get it, Over the Limit, in Detroit). Batista beats Cena with a chair across the back repeatedly, and again Cena does not quit. Batista gets in the car, and tries to reverse it into Cena, nailing the lightboard. It appears as if Cena dodged it, but they do not give us a good camera shot. They are focused on Batista in the car for a while, and then Cena comes out of nowhere, and pulls him out. Cena then hits the FU on the hood of the car. The ref asks, but Batista does not quit. Cena grabs the mic, and says that he was hoping Batista wouldn’t quit yet, and then he pulls Batista to the top of the car, and threatens to FU Batista to the stage floor, but Batista screams that he quits.
Winner and Still Champ – John Cena

The ref rings the bell, but Cena FUs Batista right through the stage anyway! Cena gets his belt, and goes to the ring, and poses for the crowd. He then goes back up the aisle, and poses while they are working with Batista in the stage. As Cena has his belt held high, Sheamus lurks from the entrance, and drills Cena with a Pump Kick!

Show Over.

I like Comics, Wrestling, Super Mario Bros & Dead Space. Oh ya, and Scott Pilgrim.
