TNA is looking to carry out a lot of cost-cutting measures, although no specific details have come to light. A list of 15 to 20 names of those recommended for cutting was given to Dixie Carter but she refused to release any of them. Carter does not want wrestlers who were loyal to TNA to be left unemployed in the current economic climate, especially since there are not many options left in the industry. TNA payroll has increased greatly in recent months, however, and most aspects of the business have not increased to compensate for this – although house shows are doing well in terms of merchandise sales.
