Hulk Hogan Suing the makers of Cocoa Pebbles

News

This is an interesting turn of events. Hulk Hogan, the man who for years told kids to take their vitamins (most likely Flintstones chewables), is now taking on Fred, Wilma and the rest of the gang in a court of law. Well, not the Flintstones specifically, but Post Cereals, the makers of Coca Pebbles.

It turns out the villain in a recent commercial bears a striking resemblance to his own iconic figure with the yellow-blonde hair and handlebar mustache. Though he’s not nearly tan enough and his cartoon counterpart has more hair.

Hogan is claiming the cereal manufacturer is using his likeness without permission. Not helping Post’s cause is that the name sounds a lot like “Hulk Boulder.”

According to Terry Bollea’s (Hulk Hogan) lawyer, they are seeking “damages that would represent fair compensation for the use of his likeness in the commercial arena.”

Watch the commercial below and see if Hogan has a case. (We’re still awaiting Hogan’s “Well you know something Mean Gene” response.)
