HeatVisionBlog.com is reporting that Cartoon Network has a Green Lantern animated series in the works. Phil Kent, chairman and CEO of Time Warner’s Turner networks unit, revealed a presentation slide for the series, Green Lantern: The Animated Series to a group of investors today.
Very similar to Marvel’s animated series model – of having a cartoon debut around the same time as a feature film (Iron Man: Armored Adventures, the upcoming Thor cartoon) – the Green Lantern series will launch after the currently in production Green Lantern film’s release.
