Vitali Klitschko was victorious in his WBC Heavyweight title defense earlier today in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Albert Sosnowski was a game challenger but when he was knocked down in the tenth, referee Jay Nady decided the fight had lasted long enough and called an end to the bout. Vitali improves to 40-2 (38 KOs) with the win while Sosnowski falls to 45-3-1 (27 KOs).
Jonathan Banks and Jason Gavern fought to a majority draw on the undercard.
