The Sun Devils had a terrific year in winning the Pac-10 and it has earned them the top overall ranking heading into the playoffs.
The Sun Devils, who are lead offensively by Riccio Torrez and Kole Calhoun and are backed up by a great pitching staff, went 47-8 during the regular season. They will start the tournament by playing UW-Milwaukee, the Horizon League Champs.
The other National seeds are Texas, Florida, Coastal Carolina, Virginia, UCLA, Louisville and Georgia Tech.
