MLB News: Galarraga's Perfect Game Could Be Re-Instated

Major League Baseball is reviewing the blown call from last night Tigers/Indians game that cost Armando Galarraga’s a perfect game.

With 8 2/3 of perfect baseball, Armando Galarraga fielded a throw from first baseman Miguel Cabrera that should have gotten Jason Donald out and ended the game. Umpire James Joyce blew the call and later admitted that he did.

Bud Selig is consulting with advisors before overturning the call.

This wouldn’t be the first time something like this was changed. Back in 1991, a panel examined the baseball record book and threw out 50 no-hitters.
