Welker is apparently attempting to set a record for fastest comeback from torn ACL.
Welker had surgery the beginning of Feburary and now just 4 months later he is back on the practice field in a limited role.
Welker took part in agility drills and caught some passes from Tom Brady on Wednesday. Welker wasn’t going full speed, but at times was going close to 3/4 speed.
After 20 minutes on the field, Welker went back inside the facility to continue treatment on his knee.
