NFL News: New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis Skips OTA For New Deal
|Revis and the Jets have been discussing a new contract for a few months, but Revis didn’t like the way talks were going, so he missed a day of OTAs.
Revis wants to be the highest paid corner in the league, currently Nnamdi Asomugha is the highest paid corner at $15.2 million a year.
Revis is scheduled to make $1 million this year in the 4th year of his rookie contract. It doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to know that Revis is slightly underpaid.
Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum said the Jets were committed to getting a deal done.
