Another big time confrence is looking to expand, and attack the Big-12 at the same time.

Just like the Big Ten, the Pac-10 is looking to expand and is looking at the Big-12 to find the teams.

One scenario would have Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Colorado joining the Pac-10. Another subs Baylor for Colorado.

“What direction that process takes still could go in different directions, everything from remaining as we are as a Pac-10 that’s got some very bright days ahead of it to a bigger conference footprint,” Pac-10 Commissioner Larry Scott said. “I have the authority to take it in different directions, depending on various scenarios and discussions we’re going to have.”

The Big 12 has reportedly given Nebraska and Missouri a deadline of Friday to state whether or not they intend to join the Big Ten Confrence. If those two teams leave, the Big 12 may crumble leaving the Pac-10 in good position to pick up some of the big name teams.
