Sources close to Nebraska’s thinking say that the school is leaning towards joining the Big Ten confrence, however, no invitation has been extended yet, and there is no word on when one will be extended.
This leaves Nebraska in a difficult spot since they have until Friday to state whether they intend to stay in the Big 12 or leave for the Big Ten.
Nebraska’s Board of Regents has a meeting scheduled for Friday, but it’s not known if they will discuss confrence alignment in public or private.
