Unholy Duo of Comedy Ready Twilight Spoof

Casting News, News

According to Dreadcentral.com, Ken Jeong, who has seemingly appeared in almost every comedy to be released in the last few years, will star in Vampires Suck for directors Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer.

Friedberg and Seltzer previously took the cinematic dumps that are Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, Meet the Spartans and Date Movie. In some beautiful Lost sideways world, the two are currently on trial for their crimes against humanity.

No plot details are known for the Twentieth Century Fox film other than the fact that Vampires Suck will serve as a Twilight parody — along with parodying pretty much any movie or pop culture event to happen between now and the film’s release date, if Friedtzer’s history is to be believed. The film is currently aiming for an August 18 release.

The Buzz: Even as somebody who enjoys bad movies, I think Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer have made some of the worst, most deplorable films to be released theatrically in the last five years. If directors are to be judged by their movies, Friedberg and Seltzer are two maggot-infeted, rotting horse carcasses slowly and rhythmically being beat (off on) by a group of masked Klu Klux Klan Nazi terrorist pedophile monkeys who like to kick puppies.

But enough pillow talk, the very fact that this movie is being released by Twentith Century Fox is the sad proof that, as terrible as the duo’s movies are, they are profitable.

I am sure that the filmmaking partners are currently trolling the depths of the humor canal for as many fart jokes and tired gags as they can before beginning production. All we can do is hope that the bad luck that has been following Terry Gilliam around for the last decade decides to pay Friedberg and Seltzer a visit.
