New Predators TV Spot Gives Peak at Predator Pooches

News, Trailers

While I may still be a little sore that the Predators sneak peek I attended at South by Southwest didn’t show as much as I had hoped it would — thus making me miss out on what I’ve been assured is an amazing movie, Leaves of Grass — I remain brutally excited about Predators, the new film produced by Robert Rodriguez and directed by Nimrod Antal.

During the presentation at South by Southwest, a smorgasbord of concept art and production design was shown — including peeks at alien dogs and robotic falcons.

Now, with the release of the first TV spot for Predators, it looks like we’ve got our first peak at the hunters’ pets. Check it out below:

Predators will be released July 9 and stars Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Danny Trejo, Laurence Fishburne, Alice Braga, Walton Goggins and, one of the scariest dudes alive, Derek Mears as a Predator.

What do you think of this trailer? Do you remain as optimistic as I am or have the last two Alien vs. Predator films stripped you of every ounce of hope?
