Notes for the June 24 episode:
– Hulk Hogan announces Rob Van Dam vs Abyss Jeff Hardy vs Ken Anderson for the TNA World Title at Victory Road.
– Abyss talks about how “they” told him to turn heel. He references a new group coming into TNA that Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Dixie Carter could not stop. Abyss attacks Hogan and shoves the magic ring down his throat. RVD saves Hogan from getting thrown into broken glass but gets powerbombed by Abyss. Anderson tries to stop Abyss with a chair but it gets punched into his face.
– Velvet Sky beats Angelina Love by DQ after giving her a DDT onto a chair.
– Matt Morgan claims to have beaten Hernandez at Slammiversary. Homicide attacks him but Morgan lays him out instead.
– Ric Flair yells at A.J. Styles for losing to Jay Lethal at Slammiversary. Jay Lethal then beats Kazarian. Backstage, Flair assaults Lethal’s brother.
– Jeff Jarrett was to face Sting but it turned out to be an imposter. The real Sting jumped Jarrett from behind and knocked him out with the bat.
– Kurt Angle beats Desmond Wolfe, who was #9 in the rankings.
– Douglas Williams is attacked by Brian Kendrick, who challenges him for the X Title at Victory Road.
– Rob Terry vs Brutus Magnus for the Global Title is added to Victory Road.
– Beer Money beats Ink Inc to set up a Tag Title match with Motor City Machine Guns at Victory Road. Jesse Neal was wrestling hurt after a Brother Ray attack backstage. Shannon Moore works most of the match himself until Neal comes out but gets pinned. Raven, Stevie Richards and Tommy Dreamer were all watching the match.
– Abyss beats Ken Anderson in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Afterwards, Abyss chokeslams Anderson off the stage and through a table. Hogan tries to stop Abyss with a chairshot but it has no effect.
